Jamie Hubley was a shooting star. An adored son and brother. A Fierce friend. A Saucy singing sensation. A Forceful figure skater and he was courageous and caring beyond words.
But he also struggled with depression and loneliness — and from the bullying that came with being the only openly gay teen in his Ottawa-area high school.
Bullying Ends Here was founded in loving tribute of Jamie Hubley, and his dream of spreading a message of acceptance and understanding.

“I first applied for the Bullying Ends Here Scholarship in 2018 after hearing about the opportunity through a friend. I was honoured to have been selected as the first ever recipient. For the last four years, Bullying Ends Here has provided me with funds to help me continue with my educational goals while not having to worry so much about the financial challenges associated with such. I am so thankful to Bullying Ends Here for believing in, and supporting me as I pursue my own dreams.”
